Creating Sepia...

For tonight's tablescape
something completely different...

Not a bit of pink!
hardly any colour at all...

creating sepia...

(click photos to enlarge)

I reused the centerpiece from last nights post

Except I swapped the dove for a white pumpkin...

The alabaster dove was given
a higher more regal roost
in my silver compote...

(plates from Two's Company)

I used my new pair of
brown transfer ware plates...

Set over detailed white chargers...

Vintage napkins dripping in frothy lace..

Candlelight is a must have on a fall table,
a single taper keeps it soft and simple...

A favorite vintage butter dish
holds eggs..

A tangle of crocheted lace runs beneath
the rambling centerpiece...

Dried white rose add charm...

A birds eye view...

Today I am joining...

and

Thanks for joining me today!

I completely love this tablescape. It's full of vintage charm. My favorite parts are the dried flowers and that "nest" with the bird eggs. But really, I think the whole thing is elegant and feminine and warm. Beautiful.
