Farm Unit Part 2

Posted on

Busy week of farm fun!  I prepared more materials than we had time for, so our farm unit will continue for a few more days.  We’re not too scheduled around here.

We also used these cards from montessoriMOMents to match our animals to their families.

-farm animal matching game (wooden disks+rubber stamped images)

-grammar farm (introduced nouns)

farm poem (with animals from our grammar farm) from Counting Coconuts

farm matching from 1+1+1=1

feed the chicken game from PreKinders (using corn kernels as markers)

adult/child farm animal matching from Counting Coconuts

Bottletop Barnyard

**GIVEAWAY** CLOSED

I have an extra set of the wooden disk matching game as well as an extra set of the Bottletop Barnyard.  Leave a comment to be entered to win! I will draw the winner on Monday May 14th and announce it in THIS post.

Those cards were a hit! I think they’ll be on the shelves for a week more at least. And that’s saying something!

Michaels and JoAnn sell them…but Hobby Lobby has the best ones! More per package and smooth edges.
