This is my 3rd quilt that I've finished on my new Simply Sixteen. I used a pantograph to quilt this one. Quite a learning experience but I gained a ton of confidence using pantographs.

Surprise, I am posting to my blog. I forget about it because I post so many pics on Facebook :(
I think I'll just add some pictures of things to update the blog, then hopefully I can be more faithful to post here at the same time I post to Facebook. The first few pictures are some recent swap items I've made. The last few are my craft/sewing room. I moved all my stamp cabinets into the closet so I could make some room for my new Simply Sixteen longarm. So far I've quilt two lap size quilts. I have a couple more quilt tops to finish up then I will be quilting them also.

Here's what I've been up to this weekend
Two finished quilts! I love it when they are fresh from the washer and dryer.
Stars Wars pattern testing for Kristy. I am making my son a Star Wars quilt for his birthday and will incorporate these blocks into his rag quilt.
My next batch of catch-up blocks ffor the Spllendi Sampler quilt-a-ling. They were supposed to be hand embroidered but I did free motion quilting for mine.
A project bag for the Sewing Loft zipper bag swap.
Pillow 1 of 3 I need to make for a friend. I'm finally getting to the bottom of my pile of "to-dos".
Birthday card for a friend using the Tim Holtz Crazy Cat stamps.

I'm going to try and be more diligent about posting to my blog. I post so much to Instagram and Flickr that I've forgotten about my blog. Here's what I did this weekend..
Hours of sewing time gathering scraps, sorting them by color then cutting them into5 inch strips with varying widths of 2 1/2, 2 and 1 1/2" strips. This is a quilt along on Flickr called the Scrap Players Quilt. The quilt is supposed to be finished in 10 days but I think after my marathon sewing weekend it is going to take me a while longer. I still have all my "random" pieces that were left over cuts from the 5" strips to sew together.
I also spent the majority of Sunday stamping some Easter cards and getting ready for my stamp club next Saturday.
Here are my helpers taking a nap while I work.
I finished up my last 2 bubbles for the Bubble Bee swap. This has been a year long swap and I am so excited to get my last 4 blocks from my swaps partners. This is an international swap and it has been fun to see the different fabrics from other countries.
Here is a little project bag I made for my March Instagram secret pal.
There are my blocks for March in the Fussy Cut blocks Flickr group. This year we are working our way through a color theme. I need to count my blocks and see if I am getting close to enough for a quilt. It takes a lot of 4" blocks to make a quilt but I'm sure I have way over a hundred since this is year 2 of this swap for me.

It has been ages since I've posted here. I seem to do most of my posting on Facebook, Flickr and Instagram. I have been sewing, sewing, sewing! My most recent project was 2 tuffets that I made taking a class in Stockton. I now have an extra finishing kit so if anyone would like to order a custom tuffett, just email me. They are little on the expensive side since the supplies cost $100 and that doesn't include any sewing time but they are adorable, and will be an heirloom.
I've also been making microwave potato bags and wallets. The potato bags are $10 each (machine washable and dryable).

I've been sewing swap items, getting a head start on January swaps.
Under The Sea fussy cut blocks for this month's theme.
Mini quilt for the Black/White + one color swap. I loved this pattern and it would make a great quilt with all the blocks connected.
Log cabin slippers. This is the first pair I've made and I made them in colors my swap partner requested. Great pattern and I added gripper fabric to the bottom.
Hunter's star block for the Stash Fabulous bee.
Valentine dumpling pouch. It's not a very big zip pouch but I will fill it with Valentine goodies for my swap partner.
