Sharing Light…..or how to make Beeswax Candles, a tutorial.

January 31, 2012

~

Everyday like the sun rising and chasing away the night… We are provided for…We are never left in the darkness

We are called to share the Light.

Where Light is, no darkness can reside.

Every time you share your Light with others… treat them like they are in your home….you push hard against the darkness…Rules are rules

The Light bought at such a high price and so freely given to us.

We have no choice… we must give it away, each time like loaves and fishes multiplied in our own lives.

Decorated with testimony, how the Light has guided us beyond where we could have imagined.

Light, when held out into our own dark memories ,has shown… He was there and it was all part of a greater Story.

Now  we can take the Light and with empathetic eyes help share with others how shadows have been cast away

We have been lit by a Great Light.. and we were told as small children…

Hide it under a bushel…NO! …

I am going to let it shine!

I just prayed this with the girls as I sent them off to school, shining lights sent out to push back darkness, just by housing the Light in their hearts–they are beacons for Him. Lovely candles by the way, you are such a creative Mama teacher:)

why thank you. I love having these beeswax candles lit every evening. The children love recall in which one of them designed each one.

All my kids love candles, but my oldest son especially. He goes around the house every single night lighting every one of them. It creates such a restful and peasant atmosphere. This adorably presented tutorial will be a great project to do with my children! Thank you for linking it up!! Have a wonderful weekend!

What a beautiful post! I love the idea of using a craft in beeswax candle rolling to share this concept. I have been trying to think of a fun Valentine lesson for my Sunday school class, this sounds like a wonderful idea! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
