2011 Projects - Progress Made

Back in this post  I listed the projects we'd hope to complete in 2011.

I've crossed out the ones we actually completed.

1. Bead board Kitchen Island

2. Under Cabinet Lighting in kitchen

{still want to do this}

3. Gas fireplace in the basement

{Got an estimate for this and it was way more than we expected so we are still thinking about it.}

4. Install a pendant light adapter with drum shade over snack center in basement

5.Younger daughter's bedroom makeover

6. Decide what to do with our built-ins..to paint or not to paint

{They are still unpainted, does that count as a decision? They might get painted black one day or possibly white??}

So, overall 50% is a horrible grade{we should be grounded for a month} but hopefully we get extra credit for completing additional projects that were not on the list like:

Installing a new cooktop in the kitchen

Reconfiguring a new workspace in the den

Brightening up the dining room

Painting the master bath 

Adding bead board and paint to the master bath vanity & mirror

Mini makeover in girls' bath

Power Washing and staining the deck

New kitchen paint color

and finally ...

Removing that pesky scallop over the kitchen sink
