Hello and welcome to the November Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month, our theme is small gifts and tags, which suited me perfectly! I love creating pretty, festive gifts to hand out to friends and family during the holidays!!! My husband does too, in fact he brings a lot of them to work to give to clients. Coincidentally, my husband had just brought home a huge bag of Ghirardelli peppermint bark from Costco! (Smart guy — he thinks ahead!) So I had all the supplies I needed to start packaging.

For this blog hop, the designers have two choices. We can design 1) three versions of a card for beginner, casual, and avid stampers, or 2) a 3D project and a card. Since our theme dictated 3D projects this month, I picked the second option. I decided to show three different ways to use Stampin’ Up! packaging.
Holly Jolly Kraft Gift Box:
My first project is a Kraft Gift Box. You can find these boxes in the July-December Mini Catalog; they come in a pack of 10 and are super easy to construct. You can even stamp them! I love the windows that give a little sneak peek of the contents and the earthy Kraft color.
For all my projects, I used the Christmas To Remember Bundle and Seasonal Labels Dies, as well as the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. I absolutely LOVE the delicate die-cuts and labels in these bundles!
I cut the pine bough die-cut from Soft Succulent Cardstock, and then trimmed it into smaller pieces to decorate behind the labels. Then, I cut the pinecones form Kraft and Basic White Cardstock. The labels are cut from Basic White Cardstock, Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (from Sale-a-Bration back in September), and Sahara Sand Cardstock. I also ran the largest label through the Timber 3D Embossing Folder for a little texture.
To wrap up this box, I used some 3/8″ Fine Art Ribbon, Linen Thread, and a few of those GORGEOUS Garden Gems in Soft Succulent. (The Garden Gems are a promotional product from the Eden’s Garden Collection, which is available to purchase now.) In order to create the bow, I looped the ribbon and then tied the center tightly with Linen Thread. Then, just fluff and attach with a bunch of Mini Glue Dots to manipulate the loops and make them stay where you want them:)
Special Friends Acetate Gift Box:
My next gift box is a 3-1/8″ x 3-18″ Acetate Box. These are located in the Annual Catalog and also come in packages of 10 and are super simple to assemble.
I usually start decorating gift boxes by creating a belly band. Not only does it add color, but it provides a base to adhere tags and bows. That way, the recipient can easily remove the belly band to open the box, and all the decorations stay intact.
This time, I cut the pine bough die-cuts from both Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Cardstock to add a little more depth. I also switched up the ribbon to 1/2″ Cherry Cobbler & Gold Ribbon. I cut the ribbon in half lengthwise, causing it to fray and create these fun, messy gold strands.
I used some more Garden Gems on the label.
‘Tis The Season Gift Bag:
My last gift is a Printed Gusseted Cellophane Bag from the Annual Catalog. These pretty bags come in packs of 25 and are great for making multiple gifts. I filled mine with six chocolates each.
I used similar supplies to the first two boxes, but this time I embossed the greeting on Sahara Sand Cardstock and trimmed it close. Also, the tag is hanging loose from a tie created with Linen Thread.
