This month’s theme, Monochromatic, is from Design Team Member Mai Chapelain
As I was cleaning and organizing my craft room, I ran across an envelope with Sarah’s baby picture in it. As soon as I saw the photo, I knew I needed to pull out all of the Petal Pink cardstock and Designer Series Paper I have purchased from Stampin’ Up! over the last couple of years.
The background paper and tall thin strip are from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, the “pink afghan” paper from In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. Petal pink vellum from the retired Perennial Essence Suite and Petal Promenade rounded out the paper. This baby is now an adult so she was able to help me choose the theme. She loves daisies and butterflies so they were a must have.
I used all of the daisy stamps from Daisy Lane along with both the large and medium Daisy Punch. The Butterfly Gala and Butterfly Duet punch were used for the butterflies.
Square Vellum Doilies and Elegant Faceted Gems round out the embellishments
