Modern Pasta Sauces Recipes

Modern Pasta Sauces

This book… This book… I’m so ready for all the delicious calories! There are so many reasons I’m loving this recipe book! Paula Jones knocked it out of the park with this one. The first thing I have to point out is how touching the dedication she included is. It got me. It also showed me that the recipes she included aren’t just random pasta recipes, but recipes of family, memories and love.

This book contains 8 chapters, which I’ll brief you on below, along with measurement conversions and resources. It’s truly full of everything you need to make traditional pasta with some yummy twists. Each chapter, with the exception of the first, contain ten different recipes.

  1. Before You Start: This chapter talks about the history of pasta in an easy and fun to read way. It’s not super long, you aren’t reading a history course so to speak, but you definitely get a great overview of what you need to know about pasta. It also includes basic pantry requirements, the benefits of fresh, high-quality ingredients and tools that are essential all in a way that can be truly understood and appreciated. On the tools, don’t worry, we all have pretty much everything we’re gonna need to bust up some yumminess in the kitchen! Plus the general tips make it easy.
  2. Oil Pasta Recipes
  3. Cream Pasta Recipes
  4. Pesto Pasta Recipes
  5. Meat Pasta Recipes
  6. Vegan Pasta Recipes
  7. Base Dishes: This one is full of more recipes and helps us learn how to pair pasta with sauces a little better. Of course, there are ten recipes here as well!

Modern Pasta Sauces Recipe Book Review

Kaycee

Hi all! My name is Kaycee. I am now learning to navigate life as a single woman. Turns out, it's not all about husband and children. Who knew? So, I'm on a journey of self discovery. I have 5 children, 3 of which are married, 5 2 are in Heaven (my beautiful baby Acadia Reign and my Diva Princess Tara Elizabeth), and 7 grandchildren! Plus, a ton of fabulous nieces and nephews! My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. Or at least it was, now I'm learning who I really am, beneath all of the busy family life. It's an adventure to be sure. I look forward to continuing to share my life through word and pictures with you and love hearing your feedback! Thank you for taking the time to read and allowing me to share! I look forward to reading your comments!

My Dad loves spaghetti but the acid upsets his stomach so I add pureed roasted butternut squash. More fiber and an extra veggie! Win-win!

I was looking at the Modern Pasta Sauces book on Amazon and seen it included a recipe for Eggplant. I never thought of Eggplant as pasta but I do love it. I just never knew how to cook it. The recipe for this is awesome.
