Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop – Travel

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop for July. You are visiting Jenn Charles. This month’s theme is all about Travel!

I don’t travel much so this scrap page was a bit of a challenge for me. I knew I wanted to use these gorgeous flowers though and I’m planning a vacation to Hawaii next year for my 20th anniversary with my husband so I thought I’d make one for that! It’s never too early to start an album.

I’m calling this page, The World Awaits, because well, along with my husband and I, the world is awaiting our vacation! LOL.

This designer series paper is called Pressed Petals Specialty DSP and it has the most beautiful flowers on it. The best part is that it comes with 24 sheets instead of the regular 12 which means 4 of each 12×12 double sided pattern instead of only 2. I love everything about this paper.

Thank you for joining us this month. Next up is Danielle Bennenk or you can hop along to all the other scrapbookers joining us today down below.

  1. Awesome colours and I love the burlap look on this DSP – but all of it is gorgeous!! Love the fussy cutting, and I’m super impressed with the before-the-event planning!! Woohoo!!

You can never go wrong with Blues and Browns. The pop of yellow just brings it all together!

  2. I really like your layout Jenn, the colours will be perfect for all that sun, sand and sea. It was a good idea to get ahead before you go – as I’m sure you will have many photos to scrap from a holiday like that! Wish you a great holiday and congratulations! x

Thank you. I love to do albums ahead of time and then just match my clothes to the page..hahahaha!

Lovely page! Great idea to get pages ready for your trip. It’ll make it easier to put it all together afterwards.

Yes, I agree. I did that for my daughters baby album in all pink and brown’s and my mom crocheted a pink and brown blanket for her so she’d match in all her pictures 🙂

This would save me heaps of time- scrapping before I take the photos – I could plan and wear the correct colour to match my layout – hope you have a great trip for your anniversary.

Thank you! Yes, sometimes I buy coordinating clothes for my kids to match DSP! I’m crazy!

  5. Perfect layout for your 20th Wedding Anniversary photos <3 I wish I thought this far in advance.
Lovely DSP, you can make anything with it. Thanks for playing along with us Jenn <3
