It's All About the Linens...

I'm joining Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for her Tablescape Thursday. Be sure to drop by for beautiful tables!
I'm sharing a table but highlighting linens. They were a very special gift from my cousin.
I'm so proud and honored to have these beautiful pieces.
They were lovingly made by hand many, many years ago.
I added a few of my things:
...my mother's silver pattern...
...and a few plates from one of my favorite sets.

Eike, thank you for this very special gift.
I'll treasure them always.

dishes: Lenox "Opal Innocence"
silver: International "Prelude"

  2. I have a huge thing for linens, especially delicate looking ones like these. When they are family treasures and hand made, they put me over the moon. I loved this.

  6. Hi, Sharlotte! Great to see your post on here. Beautiful linens are always such a special part of a table! I love the raised patterns on the linens displayed here!!!!!!! Nearly every one of my Great-grandmother's fine linens were burned in a massive fire at their home. I live vicariously through others' lovely collections. :-) Very pretty. Love the pattern on the dishes, too!!! Have a wonderful weekend!

  8. I am a huge advocate for using our family treasures on our tables. They always seem so appreciative each time that they are taken out of the drawers, cabinets, and closets. You are truly blessed with the gorgeous linens and your mother's flatware. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
