So while the chili sauce doesn't need my constant attention, I can share my fall mantle with you. It will be changing soon for Halloween, so look fast. I love the little scarecrows...they were on clearance at Bealls last winter for $.99. Love that I can use them until Thanksgiving!
The lantern I bought from Celebrating Home. It is one of my favorite pieces to decorate with. The gingham pumpkin I made with dollar store items in this post.
One more shot of just the mantle.....and you can see the garland on the fireplace a little. Lurve my arched fireplace!
The hearth has 2, count 'em, 2 super Saturday projects! The first is my fabular candle holders. { I change the candle rings with the different seasons.}
The other is my fabric pumpkins! The little armed forces bear will be hanging out until my brother gets home sometime next year.
The projects I've copied from all of you creative bloggers are next!! My house would look so plain and boring if it wasn't for all of you. This cute little cloche was copied from Allison at House of Hepworths. It's one of her top copied projects.
On to the pillows......I can't believe that I actually finished them!!
The first two, I can't remember where the total idea came from...help me if you've seen them.
The embroidery pattern is from The Graphics Fairy. The leaf and pumpkin patterns may have come from there too.
I truly don't remember where I found this one. I saved the picture last fall and forgot to save the blog name with it. I am so sorry, if it's yours, let me know so that I can give proper credit. I fell in love with the little poem and the all over cuteness of this little pillow.
This one and it's sister are a pair that I found Tatertots and Jello . Jen painted hers, and I chose to applique mine.
I'm so glad that my grandma had a sewing room stash......and that I inherited some of it!!! The buttons and lace were free to me!! All of the pillows are slip-covered so that I don't have to store a bunch of pillows. The covers will fit neatly into the storage tub with the other fall decor.
So that's it! I think I'd better get back to the kitchen. It sure smells good! I'd love to see what you've been up to!
Party on peeps,
Connie
