Have a gamer at home? I sure do! My 9 year old son is shy in person, but bold and competitive when it comes to video games. Gaming serves as a good motivator for him. He immediately finishes his homework upon getting in the car after school; having all homework and chores finished is the only way he gets to play the Xbox. When V-RALLY 4 released, he was so excited to play this fast-paced driving game.
I asked him what he liked about playing V-Rally. Here’s what he responded.
- You can speed!
- If you speed too fast, you can go off the road.
- You sign contracts.
- You can get your own car — any car of your choice!
- The maps are real places around the world, like Japan and the desert.
- It’s challenging, especially at first when you’re not used to everything.
- You complete training. It’s hard. Good hard.
He’s still in the first course, so he hasn’t attempted to build his own course yet. I love that V-Rally 4 offers such a stimulating way to be creative! Also, in multiplayer mode, teamwork and cooperation can play an important part of the gamer’s success. In our case, my son isn’t permitted to play online with others unless they’re students at his school. I like that he can still enjoy a great gaming experience without needing to talk with other people online.
It was fun to watch him play V-Rally 4. The locales are beautiful, and I like how the graphics display the natural features and landmarks at the unique courses. Simulations like V-Rally 4 can actually be good learning tools. They encourage gamers to employ problem-solving skills and strategy.

My grandkids have Xbox Ones and I know they would love this game! They like to dominate dangerous roads, hostile conditions, and environments, constantly striving for more speed with their adrenaline rushing the whole time! Plus Christmas is coming!
