With a Capital "T"

This post is do to a nudge from my friend.  So thank you friend!  I am like that lazy teenager you try to get out of bed in the morning. But we all know it's been a LONG time since I was a teenager.

I colored Frosty's scarf first and then I thought it looked rather cool to have only his scarf and nose with color.  So I just did a little shading with gray Copic markers and added little dabs of Copic Opaque White.

This Frosty is a QKR Stampede image (digi238901).  He came with a Christmas tree, but I edited it out.  I have no idea where the snowflake stamps came from other than they were a second hand purchase.  The "Thanks" is a modified Silhouette design.  I added 3 red gems to the snowflakes and used some foam dimensionals behind his head and mittens.

I am sending Frosty out to a couple of challenges and hope he comes back with a prize.

  1. You're so right about how cool he looks with just the red scarf. I love it! White is probably his favorite color, anyway, or maybe he gets tired of it. I wonder? Pretty sure I have this digi. I'm trying to picture it with the tree. Very creative editing! I really love the "thanks", too. The whole design is just immensely appealing to me. Oh, and now I'm convinced I need the Copic Opaque White. Looks fabulous! I laughed out loud at the hitchhiking snowman! Teeheeheeheehee! Hey, thanks for playing along with us at Double D!

  3. He is absolutely adorable! And I love the way you kept him in whites and used just his scarf for that pop of color! I'm with Leslie, I laughed out loud! He has the right idea to get away from all this bitter cold, but I'm wondering if he has thought this through enough. ha ha Good to see you posting again!

  4. You sure have a way of giving your snowman their own personalities.....gotta love this guy. Perfect font sentiment for the design. Really a fantastic card.
