Inside Tour of the Cottage Re-Do

Last week I showed you the fantastic re-do of the exterior of my sis-in-law's home.
If you missed it, it is the post before this one.
Thank you so much for all your kind comments.  I'm still trying to get around to visit.
I've got some pics to show you of the interior.
I had so many that I decided to divide the interior into 2 posts.
One of my favorite things is this new back entry where brother-in-law used 1 X 4's and trim
to create a beautiful board and batten look.

He carried that look into the breakfast area.
The paint color is fantastic!
If you are looking for a good tan without yellow or pink,
this is Porter paint "Crisp Khaki".
The upper wall is also Porter "Sawyer's Fence",
and the trim is white.
Love these colors!

My SIL has always loved vintage items,
and she got these wonderul old seed prints many years ago.

Those little wooden things are actually stamps for making Spritz cookies.
Love the old key, too.

That's an old candle making mold on the left.

This space is a great serving bar, as well as a place to show off her quilt collection.

She tucked a kitchen table bench behind the sofa to serve as a little sofa table.

The brick around the fireplace was painted to match the exterior painted brick.
I love the paintings propped up on the left and right of the fireplace hearth.

My BIL built in this whole hutch, which serves as a pantry in the laundry room.
Love the look with the red!
Oh, that's my SIL's great grandmother's washboard.
BTW, she didn't know I was going to take pics and it was already this neat!

This hall bath has some interesting vintage items.
But first, she used drapes tied back by the tub.

                                                                  Love the old shaving items.

And the old bottles are so charming.
                                                               Need any Kickapoo Oil?

I'm going to stop here and show her master bedroom
and charming grandchildren room next time.
Blessings,
Linda

Hi Linda,
I am visiting you today from Kim's WOW us Wednesday.
Your sister and brother in law's home is lovely...I love all the wood work. My daughter's boyfriend is a wood craftsman and he is going to do all the crown and wood work in our home. I love how all the trim and wood work can make your home feel so complete and warm. I am looking forward to your second post on their amazing home.

Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
