It has been a while

It has been a while since my last post on this blog. I´ve been really busy with work and my new blog. This is a Stampin' Up! blog written in  Dutch. I've been an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! since March and it has been so much fun! But that means that I'm really busy making stuff for that blog. Well, as it's mother's day next Sunday, I've made my mom a box card. It's from svgcuts.com and I really like the result. My mother has some strawberry plants in her garden and she likes gardening a lot, that's why I immediately thought about her when I saw this one.

New baby

My friend has given birth to her son Steven. I've made this cute carousel for her and her husband with my Silhouette Cameo. It's designed by Samantha Walker and you can find it here in the Silhouette online store.

It's perfect for gift giving, I've put a set of baby clothes in it. It's not sturdy enough for anything heavier though. I also put in an LED tea light, because the paper I've used is thin enough to shine through.

My first Copic post

Two weeks ago I've bought a lot of Copic markers at De Knotsgekke kaarten-en scrapdagen in Den Bosch. I've been practising ever since, but I'm not always satisfied with the result. The first workshop I can follow is in January, so I'll have to wait a while for that, unfortunately. The reason why I made this card is very sad, but I'm relatively satisfied with the result. The markers I've used are in the second picture.I forgot to add the c2 and bg90 that I used for the background.  The stamp is from Noor! Design by Joy crafts. The little pearls and card are from the Action store. The letters come from a big Echo Park sticker sheet. I've bought so many rolls of washi tape lately that I'm not sure where I bought that. The twine is from the Hema store.

CAS Birthday Card

I've made this CAS birthday card for my friend. I used Tiddly Inks Monstrous Party. Aren't these little monsters the cutest ever? I've coloured them with my Derwent pencils.

Piano box

This piano box is from the Thank you for the Music kit from svgcuts.com. I so totally love their designs and this piano was easy peasy to make! I'm so delighted with my Silhouette Cameo and these files to cut on it!

Antique Trunk

This 'Antique Trunk' file is a file I downloaded in the Silhouette store, but it's also available at Lori Whitlock's website. It's really sturdy, because it's double layered and I've used extra heavy design paper.
Mine is not so much antique, but I like it all the same.
Now I only have to figure out what I'm going to put in it :)

Father's Day

The new Summer Holiday kit from svgcuts.com contains this great file of a men's shirt. I made two: one for my dad and one for my father-in-law.
I think they look pretty great!

Birthday present

This wonderful tea pot is from the tea for your and me kit from svgcuts.com.  You can find it here.
It was so much fun to assembly this! It's filed with teabags and chocolates and I'm giving it for my friend's birthday.

Mother's day

I've made these cute little boxes filled with chocolates for my mum and mother-in-law. I've cut them with my Silhouette Cameo.  The cut file is the High Skies kit from svgcuts.com and you can find it here
The hot air balloon from that kit is pretty awesome too!

Cute project

Very simple: the font is Raavi, cut out of heat transfer vinyl (silhouette brand) and ironed on a onesy from the Hema store.

I used Versamark ink and Memento London Fog.
The cardstock is from boekensteuntje.nl.

Birthday card

I've made this birthday card with a Tiddly Inks image, my Derwent pencils, a background from Lori Whitlock at Jessica Sprague's store, design paper from the Lidl store and twine from the Hema.


I'm entering this card in the Totally Gorjuss challenge this week: anything goes with pink.

Adjusted 5 minute baby card

Baby Anna has been born, and I've adjusted the five minute baby card from svgcuts.com to send to her parents. I've resized the left part from the happy birthday card and copied it into the baby card.

The design papers are all from paperpads I've bought at the "Action" store, the shoes have been glittered with Olba glitters. The cardstock I've bought from www.boekensteuntje.nl

Birthday card

I've made this card with the newest kit from svgcuts.com. The papers I've used are from a paper pad from the Action store (I don't know if that is available outside the Netherlands).
I totally love this new kit, the cards turn out lovely! (And I can use my Silhouette Cameo, that always makes me happy!)

Heart shaped box

I've made this box for my friend. She always complains about people giving her Valentine's items on sale for her birthday (17th of February), so as a joke I made this one for her. I'm going to fill it with sweets and goodies. I hope she'll like it anyway :)
Both the heart shaped box and the 3d flower are from the silhouette online store. The paper is from a wedding pack, but I can't recall the name of it.

Workshop pan pastel

Today I've had this great workshop in pan pastels techniques at the Scrapheap hosted by Nellie. Next month is my birthday and now I know what I'm going to ask  ;-)

my art journal

I've started an art journal. These pages are the ones I like enough to post here. Mixed media art journaling is so much fun to do!

New Baby

My friend gave birth to a son last Thursday, so I've made her these items from the Bundle of Joy kit from svgcuts.com with my Silhouette Cameo. She really is into retro, I hope you can tell :-).

Kiss the cook

Oh, how I love my Silhouette Cameo. I've pimped this plain black apron from 'Hema' with this lovely sentiment from the Silhouette store. My husband immediately kissed me, so mission accomplished *lol*.

Another little house

This one was for a girl in my class. We exchanged gifts and self made surprises for our national children's holiday 'Sinterklaas'. A very nice Dutch tradition.
It's actually the house from the winter's chill kit from svgcuts.com, but a you can see it's very nice in a more girly way too. I've cut it with my Silhouette. The paper was from a sale, I'm not sure what it was.
