Wishing You...

Hi there!  This morning I was able to play along with a couple of challenges:

The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

I went with the middle row, down, using green, die-cut, and leaves.

First I stamped the leaf panel with Catherine Pooler inks and Altenew's Free Form Greenery stamps.  After adding the Wishing You sentiment from Mama Elephant, I die cut the stamped layer, nesting a smaller rectangle die inside a larger one (MFT Blueprints 31).  The result was a thin, stitched frame and then I was able to pop up the center portion on fun foam.  I added the teeny black sentiment strip and a few Nuvo drops in Apple Green and Sea Breeze to finish it off.

The second challenge I had to play along with is CASology's:

With a cue of "Flow," I should explain a bit what I was thinking.  Not water, electricity, etc., but traffic.  Yep, traffic flow!  I worked in Seattle for many years and, if you didn't know, Seattle has some of the worst traffic in the country.  I spent many hours sitting in traffic which usually didn't "flow" at peak commuting times.  I could have used this sentiment then!

The only traffic flow I have to worry about now is stopping when the beautiful deer are crossing the road.  I don't mind that at all!

For this card, I stamped the image from Altenew (Sketchy Cities America 2)  with Hero Arts Pool to Navy Ombre ink and the sentiment with Gina K.'s In the Navy on a Neenah Solar White 110# card base.  I added a little sequin on the Great Wheel and that was it!

Hope you're having a good week ~ thanks so much for stopping by!
