Updating the Abode-Master Bath {Bead Board Vanity}

It's done!! The vanity is painted!!
We started here, way back when.
Then got bold and painted the room.
This old vanity still looked bad.
We added a little bead board and some paint.
I love it SO much!!

The color is Benjamin Moore Smoke Grey in pearl finish.
We did one coat of primer first.
And by "we", I mean the hubs.
We He also painted the trim of the medicine cabinet.

I don't even mind the old hinges with the new paint.

I like how the grey looks next to the light fixtures.
View from the door.
Tried adding this little vanity stool and pillow just for fun.

Borrowed this rug from the girls' bathroom.
It's ok but I want to look for something different.
One more, side by side.
Now onto the kitchen island bead board painting.....
*UPDATE* Cost of this project = less than $30 for a quart of paint and the bead board.

Hi Heather,

I love what you did with your vanity. My vanity is similar with the same cuts and everything. Mine has a bit of damage at the bottom where the notch is cut at an angle. You gave me a great idea with using the beadboard. Thanks so much for sharing and enjoy your new space!

Good job, Heather:) I am very tempted to paint some of the oak cabinets around here. Was it pretty easy? I saw some specific wood cabinet paint at Home Depot that looked interesting.

I am happy you love your new room!!

This looks amazing. The beadboard completely transforms the sink and the grey and aqua work great together. Nice job.

And you enough have the same faucet that I have.

You have a nice bathroom the bead board work great but so does a little paint at times it makes things fresh until we get tired of it again and want another color...I tend to do this a lot.

Amazing transformation! It's just beautiful! I love the turquoise and gray combination. I just redid my girls room like that, although I was too chicken to let them paint the walls turquoise, we did gray.

Oh Heather! This is gorgeous! I love this color combination.

I really need to do some work in our big bathroom. This would be a neat re-do for in that area. If I could only figure out what to do with the countertops inexpensively!

Thanks for quite a creative link for the letter Q.

A+
