Disney Day 4 (part 1) Early Epcot and Tea for Three

Back to EPCOT for the morning to ride Test Track and Fast Pass Soarin'.  Also went to ride/see Ellen's Universe of Energy (while some of us were riding Mission to Mars and Living with the Land) and that was pretty cool too.  All done with Future World and World Showcase was just opening so we tried out a Kim Possible Mission in Norway.  I can still hear the theme song (bup bup bup buhp)playing as each clue was announced.  The girls did the mission while hubby and I enjoyed a Norwegian pastry (cloudberry cone) and coffee by the water.

Figuring out the clues ....
Then it was off to afternoon tea at The Grand Floridian for the girls and me.  While we were waiting, this strolled by!!  Someone was getting their fairy tale dream wedding....
We were seated at our table in the Garden View Cafe. I was actually sitting across from them so we weren't all squished up like this to eat..only for a photo op.

Ordered our tea from a huge menu and got a lesson on how to pour our black tea and strain it over this oh so elegant silver strainer.

Or if we were having lemon verbena tea, we got a press pot like this.

Tea must be kept warm in this fancy tea pot cozy. Would you like one lump or two?

Our first course: tea sandwiches and sweet onion tart.
Second course:fruit tart, warm white raisin scone, Devonshire cream and jam (this was our favorite course!)

Third and final course: dessert (assorted pastries or strawberries and cream)

And I just loved this gorgeous egg decoration outside of the cafe.  I want to live in there!!
Tea was a lovely distraction (as was ESPN club for hubby) but back to Disney!
to be continued...

Did they like Kim Possible?
Despite going to EPCOT about 20 times this trip, no one went on Mission Space or Ellen's Energy Adventure!
Does Living with the Land give you motion sickness?
C got a press pot of tea at Yachtsman and it cost $6!

Yes they liked KP.
Living with the Land does not give me motion sickness. thankfully!
That's the same price for a press pot at GF.

Hello! Nice to meet you! I was excited to see your GF tea time post! We were there in May for Afternoon Tea to celebrate my birthday! If you would like to see my pictures on my blog, go to the end of May (I've forgotten the exact date, I didn't post it on my birthday as we were away)

I'm enjoying reading about your DW trip! We love it there!

I enjoyed your tea. All little tea sandwiches are wonderful! I had a splendid time hosting a tea party back in May. Check out my blog if you care to see.

Enjoy your summer.
