Interact with God’s word in a new, creative way! Bible Stories From the Heart, a series of fun and easy Christian Bible studies for teens/adult women by Leslie Eaton, helps you to experience, grow and share the wonder of God’s love. Using focus verses, Biblical history, daily focus words, poetry, discussion questions, reflective writing, and adult coloring pages, these books go way beyond traditional coloring books to create an interactive spiritual walk as you actively engage with God’s word. There are also traceable scripture art designs to use in your Journaling Bible or personal journal.

Full of inspirational, scripture based lessons, the books are designed to help you read and understand the Bible so you will grow in faith and experience God’s Word in a new, intimate way.

Leslie Eaton has created four unique Adult Coloring Bible Study books, all geared toward empowering people as they seek to experience God’s love on a deeper level. All four books are the perfect compliment for both independent and group Bible study. Each book begins with an introduction describing in detail how the studies work, explaining the purpose of reflective Bible study, and providing examples on how to implement the lessons in small group study. There are also additional online resources listed that are available through the company’s website (found HERE) and via their email club (sign up HERE).

There are 5-6 weekly lessons included in each book. The lessons are comprised of focus verses, Bible history, focus words (including definitions), reflection/connection activities, prayer doodling, poetry by Deborah Ann Belka, discussion questions, SOAP activities, and coloring pages drawn by Nicole Plymesser Nelson.

These adult coloring Bible study books would be the perfect addition for weekly morning devotionals with friends. Each lesson involves true Bible study and includes self-reflection, meditation, and discussion. Bible Stories From the Heart is unique in that readers are encouraged to not only read the scriptures, but also create unique designs on the blank pages as they meditate on the scripture and fill in the coloring pages provided.

I can see a huge benefit in using these workbooks with faith-based homeschooling as well! There are ample opportunities for discussion, reading, and writing scattered throughout the pages in addition to the relaxation of coloring and tracing the beautiful images found at the end of each lesson.
