Yes finally I’m sitting here at my computer writing this post for the Global Design Project sketch challenge.
My eldest daughter just turned 16 so it’s been a busier than normal week with birthday celebrations. She’s recently become a vegan so I made her a birthday cake she could eat (I also made one we could eat)! Actually hers was delicious – it’s a Dr Libby recipe and would you believe the icing is made with an avocado!Anyway back to this week’s Global Design Project challenge:
All week I’ve been thinking about designs and it wasn’t until today that I came up with this: I decided that a swing seat needed to do just that – swing so I cut around it so it could.
And now all I want to do is curl up on that swinging seat in the sun with a great book and a cup of tea.Along with the Sitting Here stamp set I used the Awesomely Artistic set and to give the appearance the seat was on a house’s verandah I used the Brick Wall embossing folder.
It’s Queen’s Birthday weekend here so we’ve had an extra day off, the sun’s been shining and it’s going to be a short working week – yay!
Have a great week and see you again soon – Angela x
