My beautiful cousin is getting married in June and we recently had her bachelorette party in Nashville.  She’s grown up like a sister to me, and I was honored to be picked as her maid of honor!  I was so excited to host the bachelorette party (you know I love a good party) and wanted to make it a memorable one for her.  

Since we decided on driving, I was good with packing a bunch of decorations, drinks and snacks for all the girls – instead of buying everything when we got there.

I wanted to make little gift bags for each girl, so I got those prepped and ready ahead of time.

In each bag, I had 2 hair ties with a holder I made saying “To Have and To Hold… Your Hair Back” (I’ve included a free printable in case you want to make these too!),  a mini bottle of Smirnoff Vodka, Glow Rings, and some Starburst Candies.

I printed them on a thicker paper to hold the hair ties better.  I ordered these hair ties on Amazon, and I love them!  They worked great for this project.

I ordered these glow rings from Amazon to put in the girls bags, too.  They were a big hit.

I threw a mini bottle of Smirnoff Vodka and some Starburst Candies in the bags and tied them with a sparkly bow at the top.  Done!

I looked around at various stores for a veil for her to wear and everything I found looked so cheap and had literally one piece of tulle on it!  Unacceptable! 😉 So I decided I would make one instead.   I went to Joann Fabrics and picked up a plain comb clip in their bridal section (you can probably get these anywhere) and a spool of tulle ribbon.

I cut a bunch of pieces of the tulle ribbon twice as long as I wanted the veil to be.  I folded a piece in half, put it through the first section of the comb clip and pulled the ends through the loop of the tulle (if you’ve ever made a tulle tutu, it’s the same process.)

I repeated this process until the entire comb clip was full with tulle pieces.

Then it was ready to wear!

I definitely wanted to have the hotel room decorated for the night that we did our “official bachelorette party night” like gifts, games, etc.  So I had one of the girls at the party take the Bachelorette out for a drink while a recruited my 2 cousins to help me get the room prepped for the party!  I had all the decorations made and/or purchased before we went so all we had to do was set them up.

The tissue balls are easy enough to make, but very time consuming – they sell them for $6 for 3 tissue balls at Party City so… buy them!  Haha!

I made little straw covers with the Bachelorette Party Hashtag and a funny little play on her name – people seemed to get a kick out of these.  I printed them on the same paper I used for the hair ties, and punched holes at the top and bottom of each circle the put the straw through.  Easy enough!

Overall, I thought the party turned out great – and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves… especially the Bride-To-Be!
