One of my favorite stamp sets from the Occasions catalog is Party Wishes. Here’s my most recent card made with that set.
Cake, candles, what else? Of course, “Make a Wish”! Isn’t it cute? I think you could send this to just about anyone.
Card Details
I love the black, white and Watermelon Wonder combination. I used some of the Color Me Irresistible Designer Series Paper for the cake. I stamped on the back of the paper, cut it out with my then stamped on the design side with Basic Black ink. The inspiration for the card design came from the latest Global Design Project challenge. Here’s the link and challenge icon.
Here’s a close up of the cake I have on the front. I stamped the cake on the back of the Irresistible You, cut with Paper Snips, then stamped “Make a Wish” on the cake.
Card Supplies
When you look at the list of supplies, notice that there is a bundle that includes the Party Wishes stamp set and the Party Punch Pack. I used the Party Punch Pack to punch out the candles on today’s card. If you order the bundle, you save 15%! Yea, SALE!
Love the way you’ve used the layout from the inspiration card. The yellow also pops wonderfully. Thanks for playing with Global Design Project.

Such a great card, Dianne! I love that you stamped on the back of the paper before snipping it out. Such a fun effect! I also love how you used this heart paper for a birthday card – totally appropriate. Thank you for playing along with this week’s CASE the Designer Challenge at Global Design Project – glad you did.
