A fast-moving thriller from Henry Kane follows a drunken businessman on a bender and the trouble he gets into. The first section is from the point-of-view of the businessman and really conveys the disjointed thinking and alcoholic drive of the businessman. His wife takes precedence through the rest of the work, and her intelligent investigative work while racing against a time limit imposed by the police really is quite impressive.
