Stampin’ Up! Friends & Flowers Bunny Card

If you haven’t checked out the Friends & Flowers stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog…you need to peek at page 46.  It’s so cute and it coordinates with the Festive Flower Builder Punch from the Holiday Catalog!

Friends & Flowers - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #022.

Screen Shot 2016-02-12 at 11.10.14 AM

I started by embossing a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then to a Mint Macaron card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Friends & Flowers 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a wide strip of the Birthday Bouquet DSP to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the sentiment from the Crazy About You stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a larger panel of the Birthday Bouquet DSP, adhered it to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Friends & Flowers 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the bunny face and ear images from the Friends & Flowers stamp set  in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the ear image again on a Post-It Note, snipped out the center of the ear, then used the remaining piece to create a mask.  I sponged Blushing Bride ink on the inside of the rabbit ears with a Sponge Dauber, then I punched the ears out with the Festive Flower Builder Punch.

I punched a circle from a Post-It Note with the 1/4″ Hand Held Circle Punch and used it to sponge Blushing Bride ink over the bunny’s cheeks, then I punched the bunny’s face out with the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch.

Friends & Flowers 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the bunny face and ears to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added one of the Bow Paper Clips Embellishments to the ear.

Friends & Flowers 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the bunny face image from the Friends & Flowers stamp set on a Whisper White panel in Soft Suede ink, then punched a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch from a Post It Note to create a mask to cover the image.  I stamped the ear image over the mask, then used the same masking technique from above to add Blushing Bride ink to the ears and cheeks.  Once I had the panel stamped and sponged, I adhered it inside the card with SNAIL.

  1. What a fun and happy Spring card Amy! Great tips for the sponging, I probably would have flubbed that up, lol. Of course I don’t have this set or the punch… Now I’ve got to think on it, I really love what you created here 😉

  4. Great use of all that lovely DSP on your card Amy. I always forget to use it! Love the bow on the Bunny’s head. Nice touch. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week!
