It's raining cats and dogs!

Anyone who is a regular visitor to my blog (and thank you so much if you are) will have guessed that I have a fondness for animal images and especially for cats and dogs. I spotted Challenge #281 over at The Paper Players and knew I had to play along!

I'm still in the middle of my stamp-crush with the Katzelkraft cats and dogs. I needed a masculine card for my cousin, John, so this is what I came up with:

I really, really want to add some sequins but have so far fought the urge as I don't think John is a man who'd go for 'bling'! The paper is from Echo Parks 'Head over Heels' pad and the sentiment is from the AI set 'Jean', which doesn't seem to be available any longer. For anyone who shares their life with a cat these words should make them chuckle... or snarl!

There are some great cards from the DT girl's and some lovely entries for this challenge; so I'm going to grab a herbal tea, settle back and enjoy a little visiting...

What a great card - I love that expression on the cat's face and the one green eye really pops against the neutrals of the rest of the card! I'm glad you resisted the addition of sequins - this card is a perfect male card as it is Jo! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

LOL... what a perfect sentiment for such a cute image. My cat is so like that... only smoochy when he wants to be otherwise completely ignores me till feed time
