GUEST BATH
I took another decorating/table setting hiatus, over the past couple of weeks.
Feeling an edge of blog burnout creeping in, I thought it best to take a few drives in the country and enjoy the beautiful world around us.
Refreshed from my time away, I’ve returned with a makeover.
Not a huge metamorphosis by any means. But one that shows a bit of a different look, for our lakeside guest bath.
I thought about painting this room, but I like the versatility of the white walls, making it possible to change the room with a couple of new towels and prints.
The collage shows the condo guest bath, before, a sort of red, white, and blue color scheme.
After eight years it was time for a makeover.
When I saw the prints and towels at Marshalls, I knew I had found just what I needed for a mini makeover.
Here we are, a few years and several pounds ago, at Split Rock Lighthouse on Lake Superior. This photo was sitting on the guest bath vanity just about 8 years.
Definitely time for change!
DOG DAYS OF SUMMER
Keeping the lakeside look casual, colorful, and fun.
I found the bobber birdhouses several years ago at Welcome Home.
The canvas prints and beach dog print are from Marshalls, Osage Beach MO.
The basket holds extra TP.
Makeover finished just in time for 4th of July visits from g’kids and their parents.
Dream Home Update
I received a lovely e-mail from a granddaughter of the people who lived in the “Dream Home”, I wrote about last week. She enjoyed the post and I loved hearing from her. The family continues to maintain the beautiful Missouri farmhouse and surrounding grounds.
