The 15th in the Campion series, there has been plenty written about this book, so that my review isn’t really necessary. More a light novel, than a tightly plotted mystery, it is set in the English countryside at Midsummer’s, as an artistic couple plans a party. Two murders complicate things, but not by much. There isn’t much suspense, and it seemed as if no one possibly could be the murderer, as there wasn’t all that much suspicion involved. Still good, but somewhat of a puzzle as to why it is so beloved.
