Bev at My Reader’s Block has a new challenge this year. Instead of Bingo, we’re going on a scavenger hunt! She’s provided a long list of mysterious items to find on the covers of the golden or silver age mysteries we read. I figure I still read enough physical books to join in the fun. I’m a golden age reader, in case you haven’t noticed, which by Bev’s definition is up to and including 1960.
This sounds like fun!
This coming week 1/4-10 is Bout of Books 15. I’m never much good at it, but try, try again, right?
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 15 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
And with all the challenges I need as much encouragement as I can get.
Welcome Back to the vintage challenge, Phinnea! Actually, though, Vintage Golden is up to1959. Silver is 1960-1989 (inclusive).
AND you were one of the winners from Vintage Bingo. I sent you an email. Let me know if it didn’t come through.
Thanks, Bev, for the correction and the Bingo! I’ll be in touch!
