MFT Summer Scool, Session 2 Lesson #10

Welcome back!!!

Hope you  are having a fabulous day! I wanted to share the cards I created inspired by the last lesson of

For this lesson I created two A2 size cardsI wanted to create a "pink" card for my sister who loves any shade of pink and whose birthday is approaching fast ;)

I used MFT Brushstroke Birthday Sentiments,
 and  MFT Modern Blooms
Versamark Dazzle ink in Frost,
 Clear Embossing ink
Clear embossing powder- to create the darker tones of pink.
ZING's  "Rose" opaque embossing powder- for the Sentiment
A few sequins

I think this one is good to go!

For my second card I used Embosing paste colored with FC's Gelatos.

I used a Heidi Swap Stencil and Casual Friday's Sentiment. Well I thinks this is all the craft time I got for the rest of the week an it has been fabulous!!! until next time!

  1. These are so pretty - love how they are both totally different...the hot pink is such a lovely contrast to the neutrals in the second. Love how you've embossed using the paste. I really must get mine out! Thanks for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays!

Day 2 of Exploring Watercolor Mediums

Hello crafters!  I hope your day is going well. I am here to share my fun work 😉for day two of Exploring Watercolor Mediums over at Altenew Academy. In today’s  lesson Jen Rzasa invited us to experiment watercolor on non floral images, using watercolors with the black outline heat embossed technique. I don’t currently own a large geometric image that resembles the Arabesque Medallion used in the lesson, so I have to dive in my stash and see what other geometric images could work. Here are the results of my experiment: Even though I like all of them,  I prefer  the “mandala”, maybe, because it was more time consuming to double trace ( once with permanent marker and a second time with an embossing marker) the stencil image and then stamping the individual circles.  Of course, working late at night, my brain fried, I made a mistake😖, I was so disappointed I almost threw it away, but being that I am short on watercolor paper I hesitated and had to figured out a way to salvage it 💡: by c

TURTLEY kind ;)

Hello friends!  I hope your day is going well. I wanted to share with you an idea for gift tags using cookie cutters and paper clay. This is the tag my oldest child help create for week 3 SHMK challenge: Children. Inspired by this weeks theme we also  made Alphabet shaped cookies and gave a few young friends their names covered with their favorite color frosting, they were gone before I could take pictures!!! I  have enjoyed Jenniffer's challenges this is a cause that speaks to my heart and we encourage our kids to be polite and kind always :) this just feels good! Onto the project ;) My littlest nephew loves TMNT's Leonardo and he has been wanting a "lounge" set actually he calls it "soft clothes". He has eczema and it is aggravated by clothing with a high nylon or polyester percentage and unfortunately all the PJ sets our there are we found have a  high polyester or acrylic percentage. So, I had to go get some cotton fabric and luckily enough I found
