MFT Summer School Lessons #7 & #8

Happy Friday!!

This is my second post today....because I am SO in the crafty flow right now.  Thanks all to the MFT Stamps Summer School Lessons.

*Warning this post may be a bit long*   ;-)

My first creation is inspired by Lesson #8 - Primary Colors.

I used the new Split Diagonal Stencil with Simon Says Stamps and WPlus9 inks.  I didn't have the correct MFT inks...but I have since corrected that with an order.  ;-)

After I removed the stencil, I spritzed the panel with a Perfect Pearls mist (see pic below) and die cut with the panel with Blueprints 21 pierced rectangle.

I cut a piece of MFT Vellum and some MFT red cardstock with the new Blueprints 26 dies.  The sentiment was compiled from the Super Boy and Terrific Ties stamp sets, stamped in Versafink and clear heat embossed.  A few Doodlebug Sprinkles to finish it off.

........................................................................................................................................

This card is by far my favorite....  It was inspired by Lesson #7.

One of my favorite color combinations is blue and orange.  It can be used in so many ways.

I used Dylusions Sprays to create a background panel.  Once that dried, I die cut the panel shape from Blueprints 21 and stars from the panel with Blueprints 18.  I sprayed the outline stars with the same orange spray and inlaid them in the panel once attached to the card base.  The center stars I popped up on foam squares.

The banner flag was cut with the Blueprints 21 die set, sentiment from the Terrific Ties stamp set was stamped in Memento Pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

The inside of the card was decorated with the negative of the die cut panel from the front, and detailed with some stars stamped with some more Memento pigment inks and also clear heat embossed.
