MFT Summer School - Movement/ Flow

Have you been following the Summer School over at MFT?  There are several online classes and one of them that I thought could be challenging to make a card is called the "Movement/ Flow" lesson.  In this lesson, it will help us to understand the idea of incorporating Movement/ Flow in our designs. You could also check out the video by Susan Opel.

Here is my take on the Movement/ Flow.  I am using the ombre technique as I interprete it as movment/flow as well.  Basing on the sketch from CAS (E) this Sketch and colour challenge from ColourQ, I stamped the base card with MFT Woodplank Background by using the TH chiped sapphire, faded jeans and broken china.

The feathers are also from MFT which are cut onto a watercolour paper. Then I used mustard seed and chipped sapphire onto the acrylic block and spritzed it with water.  The feathers are dapped onto the acrylic block to achieve the result. Finally, I die cut the sentiment and added a glittered twine which I did a double knots.

I ran out of navy blue and used this instead for the layering and sentiment.

Thank you for dropping by!
