May 2015: Because I was reading this as the discussion leader for a book club I focused on finding examples of the Gothic genre and foreshadowing. It made the book a deeper read and made me think more about the characters and their motivations than the first time I flew through it for fun and found it to be a more well-written book than first supposed. This just made me love Kate Morton even more!
Sep 2011: Loved this book! Loved characters, story, atmosphere, writing style, and how the house was a character as well. Super fun!

Have you read any of her other books? I love ALL of them. The plots are so complex and delicious.

I've read them all and loved them, too! I'm re-reading this one for book club on Tuesday night and I have to lead the discussion.
