Fleurs for Sale...

I picked up this cute little watering can
a few weeks ago,
with the intention of painting it white.....

(click photos to enlarge)

then I thought about all the cute projects
I have seen lately using chalkboard paint...

I used spray chalkboard paint,
the paint is VERY black...
so I smugged a lot of chalk around to soften the look...

watering cans and Lilacs
are a perfect pair...

Sensation Lilac....
lives up to it's name....

the allure of fresh chalk and a chalkboard,
was too much for even my husband to resist...

I was surprised to find this message today....
how cute is that!

aren't small gestures from the heart...
the most priceless:-))

tonight I am joining...

and

Thanks for stopping by...

Oh Bella Sweetie...
How absolutely precious this share is. Love your little watering cans painted with chalkboard paint. That is so cute, and fun for everyone I see. Even DH couldn't resist could he? A kid at heart.

I know my grands would love this idea. I think I am going to set one at the center of each table for Memorial Day and see who will be the first one to pick up the chalk and write on a watering can.

I can sure smell your wonderful lilacs. I love that scent. It is SO heavenly.

Have a beautiful Memorial Day weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Just darling! What an original! I like the way you've dressed it up. I've never seen that variety of lilac. So pretty and interesting. If I had one of those cans I might get up and find "get bread". Ha!
