DIY: You Are My Sunshine: Get Well Gift Basket

Sometimes… When we are having just a CRAP week, all we need is a friend to say, “You are my Sunshine!”. This past week, a dear friend of mine has been having such a rough time… one sick kiddo (hospitalized sick) after another. They are now on the upswing of things, THANK GOODNESS, but I wanted to share with you an idea I ran with to help cheer up her day.

This is my DIY “You are my Sunshine Get Well Basket”! I chose a few simple things, but filled it with cheer!

To avoid the germs, So that she didn’t have to get dressed or presentable, I set it nicely on her  front porch and sent her a text as I was driving away. She was so excited, as we her little ones! And I felt like I was helping in some little way.

    I love this idea! Don’t we all need some sunshine in our life sometimes? I think this is great for friends when they are sick….or it could be changed a bit for just brightening someones day. Thanks for sharing.
