Guest Bedroom on a Dime, or a Nickel, or a Penny!

Welcome to our guest room....
well, actually, it's the  bedroom that we stay in at our daughter's home when we babysit.
Recently, she painted the tan walls Linen by Ben.Moore to brighten things up.
She made this "Welcome" sign from a GW frame, a piece of burlap on top
of scrapbook paper, and some 1/2 price vinyl letters from HobLob!

She framed it on each side with tins pics from Clearance of Hob Lob and added a GW piece to the right.

The bed is full of GW pillows
(at this writing, this pic is already out of date 'cause she has
made the cutest pillow for the center...I'll show it next time.)
The windows are topped with GW iron work - $4 each!
And the entertainment center was another GW find at $30 that
they were going to sell on Craig's List, but just might keep it.

She'll probably add a long drapery panel at some time in the future.

Top of the armoire

This night stand was mine as a little girl.
I painted it white when Daughter was a little girl.
After all these years, it is shabby naturally!
Oh, the tabletop keeps morphing.

See, it's changed.

come back next week 'cause it's changed again!

This little bench used to be a drab brown.
She painted it, placed a throw across it,
and added some pillows she already had..
You've gotta come back and see the adorable pillow and sassy bench seat cushion she made...
too cute!  Stay tuned.....it will probably all change.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings, Linda

It's great that your daughter can pull together great decor with just a little cash and some smart Goodwill hunting. Her bedroom is quite inviting.

great room on a small budget! I am like that too, always changing things around, especially if I buy one new thing it has a domino effect!
