Mixed Media World - Anything Goes

Hello everyone,

Well this is really exciting! The former Speed Craft Challenge has now morphed into a new, rather fab, mixed media challenge!

Now you can take as long as you like to create something just as long as it qualifies as mixed media. We have put our definition of the term on the new blog for you along with the rules....don't worry, there isn't too many of them.

So pop along to Mixed Media World to see what the new blog looks like and what my wonderful teamies have created for you.

This challenge is supposed by:

who are generously giving the winner a whopping £20 voucher to spend in their online shop! Not only that but the winner also gets added to our gallery AND gets to be a guest DT for the next challenge.......WOW!!!

For our first challenge we are having a nice, easy theme of: Anything Goes.

A massive thank you to our lovely leader, Ingrid, who has put so much hard work into our new challenge blog and we also have a new DT member too!

Okay,so after all that, here is my creation for the new challenge. This painting has been done on another piece of my recycled wood from the chest of drawers.....told you there was more to come!

This was all hand drawn and then painted with mostly Liquitex Basics and a little dash of Luminarte Silks. The wood was of course coated with Gesso first and the background is Faber Castel Gelatos. The finishing touches were some new Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers and some liquid pearls which I'd forgotten I have in my stash!

We really hope you'll love the new challenge as much as we all do and will come along and have a play!

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Mixed Media Monthly,Birds of a Feather

Country view Challenges,Anything Goes

613 Avenue Create,Anything Goes

Simon Says Weds,Special Lady/Girly

Crafts 4 Eternity,Anything but a Card

Hope you like it
