Hello Spring

Well no outside pictures today....cold and raining here.  I'm hoping this card will help Spring along a little bit!  I'm entering it into the following challenges:
The Paper Players 234 Theme Challenge:  Think Spring
Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Now to make things more interesting I have to tell you the background on how this card came out the way it did.  The image was stamped on watercolor paper and I began to color it in with watercolor pencils and an aqua pen.  When I had it exactly as I wanted it I reached for the sentiment I had chosen, inked it up, turned it to stamp and.....dropped it onto the paper.  I was almost ready to throw it away and start over and then I decided to "fussy cut" the image and pop it up on another piece of watercolor paper (so I could be consistent, lol) but first I stamped the sentiment to be sure I got that right this time.  I think I like it better popped up and cut out....anyway, goes to show you where there's a will there's a way and there are no mistakes in cardmaking just opportunities!  Okay, on to the supplies I used:
CARDSTOCK:  Bazzil, watercolor paper
STAMPS:  Power Poppy Azalea, SU! Well Scripted
INK:  Versafine
ACCESSORIES:  watercolor pencils, aqua pen, Fruit Punch Stickles, SU! Pretty in Pink Ribbon
So what do you think?  I'm pretty happy with it.....I think I'll use the design for a card class I'm having in May.  Thanks for taking time to look around today....Hurry Spring!
Becky

Your card turned out fabulous Becky, Beautiful colors and great fussy cutting. I have not had that happen to me "yet" but I have stamped my sentiment backwards :) :)

Beautiful, Becky! Your coloring is wonderful. Yep...more than once I have dropped an inked stamp onto a card. Your fussy cutting was a great way to save it. Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players this week!
