A Floral Frame …

Hello friends,

My second card for Christine’s blog, Hope & Chances Creativity , features the beautiful Spellbinders Shapeabilities Card Fronts die set “Floral”. I decided to add a vintage look to the card by trimming away the floral background to create a delicate frame for the vintage scrap from Graphic 45. I was so pleased with the outcome as it gives so much depth to the picture of the adorable girl in the garden. I also added some tiny butterflies from the Spellbinders Die D’Lites “Flutter Love”.

Project details:

  • Cream card-stock
  • Docrafts Papermania designer paper “Vintage Notes”
  • Spellbinders Die D’Lites “Flutter Love” (Tiny butterflies) (S3-211)
  • Spellbinders Shapeabilities Card Fronts die “Floral” 9S4-452)
  • Spellbinders Shapeabilities die “Fancy Framed Tags One” for sentiment oval (S4-377)
  • Graphic45 vintage scrap “Secret Garden”
  • JustRite sentiment stamp from “Fleur de Lis Labels Twenty” stamp set (CL-02210)
  • Pearls
  • Wax cord
  • Daisies
  • Tim Holtz distress inks “Antique Linen”
  • Skwiglues “Crystal”

Hope you like my take on how to use a card front die in a different way. My next post showcase a clean and simple shabby card I created with the same Spellbinders Shapeabilities Card Fronts die “Floral”.

Regards,

Amelia
