it's Joanne's turn to pick the challenge and apparently she hasn't had enough of this cold, snowy weather because she wants us to celebrate it by using the word "Frosty" as our inspiration. And she wants to see snow too.
As someone who much prefers to enjoy the outdoors from indoors I say, "Boo!" Actually, I say, "Brrrrrr." But seeing as she didn't tell us to drag our supplies outside to make something, to truly get into the spirit of the challenge, to be one with nature while we lost all feeling in our little piggies, while our fingers got a touch of frostbite and our nostrils froze completely shut (yes, it's that cold here) I managed to put something together.
And here it is.....
Digi was a freebie from MelonHeadz. And yes, that's just about how I look if I go outside in the winter. Well, as long as she's wearing at least three layers on the bottom and four layers on the top, that is.
So why not celebrate the season of Brrrrr and head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
I totally love this card! The image is adorable, great coloring and I love how you created a patterned paper snowflake - so simple, yet so effective!

Jan, this is so cute. Love your coloring and the texture of the paper showing through ... Brrrr from Chicago, I know how you feel.
ReplyDeleteLove it.....really I do!!! A great image for this cold weather we are having here. I also like how you made a patterned snowflake as an embellishment. Great meeting you today. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI love your sense of humor. If we can't have fun on our blog posts, why post?! I love this card; it's adorable and I love the image. Sorry I missed the freebie! I like how you used the baker's twine with the snowflake. Cute and adorable.
ReplyDeleteAwww... They're cool. Love the torn "snow". Just last night I did some paper tearing after so long and love the result.
