Happy Sunday morning everyone! I came home from the beach yesterday and was very happy to get here. The first part of the week at the beach was beautiful....perfect temperatures - low 70's and gorgeous sunshine and blue skies. On Friday however old man winter arrived and it was COLD.....strong winds, temps in the 30's and 40's. Came home to the same thing but I do have warmer clothes at home than I had at the beach. Enough already.....I have created this card this morning for a challenge at The Paper Players Challenge #222 Ann's Clean and Simple Thank You Challenge. I never have enough thank you cards so this challenge is perfect for me this morning. My card base is 4-1/4 X 5-1/2 made from PTI Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped with a sentiment from SU! Because I Care stamp set. I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then embossed the card with Darice Falling Leaves embossing folder. I added some ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon August Club Assortment and pilfered through my button collection and found a pretty brass looking one that I threaded some gold cord through and tied a bow in the back of the button and then adhered it to the ribbon. It is pretty clean and simple for sure.....thanks for coming by this morning and checking it out. Have a blessed week everyone!
