It's Five O'Clock in The Bubble

It has been days and days since my last card. It's not that I haven't had time for The Bubble. For some unknown reason I find myself doing yard work, cleaning (basement spaces and the garage), and organizing. That has GOT to stop! There must be an antidote to this malady!

Even though I am very proud of my work in the garage...much to my husband's dismay...I won't bore you with photos of my prowess with de-junking of it. I will share with you photos of my reorganizing of my ribbon "collection". I may be in need of a "ribbon intervention". Take a look and see what you think:

I posted this earlier - but  this is the UPGRADED version. With a few dowels I was able to combine the contents of two racks into one. Well...mostly. This does not include the black, white, brown, and cream colored rolls.

But what about ribbon NOT on rolls you may ponder...Here is the Ribbon Line. Note to self: ALWAYS check the Ribbon Line before cutting into a ribbon roll!

NOT pictured: color coded jars of ribbon snippets... Officially snippets are too short to be draped over the "clothesline" yet long enough to work on a card. Yes. I have a problem!

YIKES! That's yards and yards of ribbon! In my defense...some of my ribbon hanks are here as a result of "Transfer of Crap".

Now...on to the card! This is one of those cards that lost a little (or not so little) something in translation. with all the cleaning I've been doing I think a mason jar full of liqueur is in order.

  1. Whatever is in that jar, I'd love to be sipping on it right about now! Very pretty and sparkly and just plain wonderful!!! Love the dry wall mesh on here too.
Your ribbon looks fantastic. My hubby made me some neat rod things to hold mine and I keep running of room - can you say addicted to ribbon! LOL! Love the clothes line of ribbon too.

  9. Boy, do I hear you with the garage clean-up, my husband hates it when I do that, too! Then again, I'd hate it if he came out and cleaned the Playhouse! Your tequila sunrise card is AWESOME. It looks so real that my mouth is watering!

As for your ribbon collection, um, uh, well, okay, yes, you need an intervention, girl!!! But I do so admire (and share) your need to keep them neat and tidy!! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Darnell
