it was amazing

bookshelves: juvenile, newbery-honor

This is a very good story for middle readers about the consequences of choices and living with them. Joel and Tony go swimming and Tony drowns in the river. Joel has to face his friend's death and all that entails. Very well done and easy for that age to understand and think over.
