Today's card uses the lovely Sarah Kay stamp, Rosalie's Bicycle. I've used water colours for the image and Pan Pastels for the sky. I was pleasantly surprised at how the black framework made the image pop, and I'm sure I will be trying that again.
Other supplies used:
Basic Grey paper - Clippings collection
Spellbinders dies - Labels Eight and Decorative Labels Eight
Some paper candi, a button and a bow for embellishment
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to get outside and enjoy some sun, if it's shining where you are!
Some challenges for my card:
Fabulous image, with beautiful colouring and your stunning detail. A delight Joyce. No idea about what to do about the skunk. We don't have them in the UK and I am a bit jealous. The robins are nesting and visiting the table every day for their mealworms, so spring has arrived here. Winter is on the way out.

Joyce, this is gorgeous!! Those black layered fancy frames really make that beautiful image pop. Love your water colored sky. ~jeni :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card Joyce absolutely fab image and stunning embellis truly another of your amazing makes x
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion for the skunk is stay away from it. You might keep a time check on it so you know when its safe to go outside! Hopefully it will eventually move on and look for another food source.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful and the black frame definitely does make the image pop! I like the buttons too!
Can't help with suggestions for the skunk, as the smelliest thing in my house is the dog, and we wouldn't want to evict her!
ReplyDeleteYour image is beautifully coloured and that black frame sets it off to perfection.
