Two Cards

Surprise, surprise....it's snowy again today. We got about 12 inches this morning and expecting more overnight. Can you tell I'm ready for this winter to be over already?

I have two cards to share with you today. The first is a card that I made for the fun Papertrey Anniversary challenge today. My daughter rolled the dice for me and here were my challenge parameters:

Colors: Enchanted Evening, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shore, and White
Technique: Inlaid Diecuts
Fiber: Bakers Twine
Embellishment: Buttons
Occasion: Friends
Sketch #2

So for this card, I pulled out my Military Hero set to make a card for Operation Write Home since the colors are very masculine.

I inlaid the Hawaiian Shores banner in the middle of some striped Aqua Mist card stock and then matted the panel on Enchanted Evening dotted paper. Since Operation Write Home cards should not be overly bulky, I swapped the required buttons for a white stamped polka dotted circle from the Bits and Buttons set and a smaller sketched circle from Sketched Shapes.

Second card is for CASology this week. Cue card is BOLD. My card features a bold glittered star on PTI silver shimmer paper.

Thanks for stopping by!
