February TBR

FebruarytbrI never really understood why people would announce their monthly TBRs. I thought it was such a stressful tactic! You’re telling people what you are going to read and they are expecting you to read all of them. Even going over it in my head now slightly makes me nervous. But truth is, I like to have a list of the month so I know exactly what I need to read. Because I have so many goals this year when it comes to Mount TBR and Book Clubs, I want to make sure I’ve covered all my bases.

So, you ask, what is on Ambrosia Books February 2014 TBR List? I’m curious too…why don’t you look and see?

As you all know, I’m trying to do the Mount TBR challenge and trying to read at least 12 books off my TBR list (Pike’s Peak). I will also be participating in my current book Clubs by reading 2 books from two separate book clubs on Goodreads a month. Then I will have two personal choice books, one YA and one Adult. I can either read a current release or tackle more of my evergrowing TBR list for the Mount TBR challenge. Now that I think of it, I may try and do more challenges. Maybe I’ll add a list on a page for that.

Now that you know exactly where I’m coming from, let’s check out my Feb TBR! If you are interested in these books, all you have to do is click the book cover and it will take you to the Goodreads page.

For my Book Club Reads, I have chosen to read:

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman
Book Club:
We ♥ YA Books!

Step Back In Time by Ali McNamra
Book Club:
Chick Lit Book Club

For my Mount TBR- Pike’s Peak Challenge:

Mona Lisa Darkening by Sunny
Added to TBR on:
August 06, 2009

City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
Added to TBR:
August 19, 2009

My Personal Choices for this month:

Miss Peregrine’s House For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Young Adult Choice

Memnoch, The Devil by Anne Rice
Adult Fiction Choice

And my bonus book if I finish all of the above before February ends is:

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

YAY! I think I have a good couple of book choices for the month of February. Please feel free to join the Book Clubs listed above! They are really awesome and worth checking out. Crossing my fingers for a great month!

*Update: Looks like Miss Peregrine’s has been chosen for another book club I’m in. Please check out this club as well! The Perks of Being A Book Addict
