I always love looking at other bloggers' favorite things because I get so many ideas for new products. You just can't beat someone's personal recommendation for something, even if it might come across cyberspace. Andrea and Erika host a monthly link party showcasing everyone's Favorite Things (under $10).
Here are a few of my favorites from the past month. My nails were in really bad shape. They were constantly breaking. I especially seemed to have problems with the nails getting jagged along the edges and then tearing off. Intervention was needed!
I had heard about Nail Envy before, so decided to give it a try. As usual, I ordered from Amazon.co.uk. So much easier than paying for parking and a much better price too! Nail Envy has a white appearance in the bottle, but it goes on your nails like any top coat. The directions say to apply every other day.
It has made a big difference in my nails. They are not breaking and feel much stronger. Sometimes I wear it alone; other times as a base/top coat with nail color. Love it!
When I ordered the Nail Envy, Amazon had a "package deal" that included an OPI cuticle oil for just a few pounds more. Of course I clicked it, since my cuticles were dry and ragged. Not anymore! The Avoplex is a great nail and cuticle oil that I put on most nights before bed. It has made my cuticles look much "cleaner" and smoother.
I'm looking forward to trying lots of new "favorites." What are some of your current favorites?
