Radiant Orchid @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

Rosanne wants to see a card that's inspired by Pantone's Colour of the Year for 2014 which is Radiant Orchid, or as us laymen like to call it, purple.

I really like the concept for this challenge. But, I being so absolutely not in the know (as usual), had to Google the Colour of the Year. I had guessed by the name that it would be purple but wanted to make certain, of course. What I didn't expect was the adjective-laden description of said colour. Really, who writes those things? Honestly, I wish there was some way someone could make a  physical manifestation of Radiant Orchid, as I now do believe that said manifestation could solve world hunger, broker world peace, cure every known disease and teach me the proper way to fold a fitted sheet....all before lunchtime.

But, I will say, it's a pretty colour. (Don't tell it I said that though as I think with all the fawning it's probably well on its way to being completely narcissistic as it is.)

And, I made a card inspired by it.....(Don't tell it that either.)

Digi was a freebie from MelonHeadz Illustrating.

You know you've got some purple supplies in your wagon so why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have done.

  10. So cute! Purple is kind of a 'don't know what to do with it' color for me...so I rarely use it ;) I love the brad treatment...little details...you do 'em well!

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
