Kraftin Kimmie October Kardmaking Kit!!!

It's time to peek this month's Kraftin Kimmie Kardmaking Kit!!  When we peek the kits, did you know that each Krafty Girl is using only 1/6th of the kit?!?  Kimmie divides the kit 6 ways and sends it out, just to show YOU what all can be made with just one kit!!  I went a little overboard with my 6th… I made a card, decorated the inside and then made 2 gift tags (and still had scraps!!).  I should also mention that aside from the white paper I stamped on, all of the papers, twine, snowflake & cork, etc. are from the kit!!!

First off, here's my card.  I inked up Grace… I wish I looked this pretty and put together after baking (I have to wear sweats and old t-shirts cause I make a mess, lol).  Can you see the Icicle border?  That's punched from the cork that's included in the kit… sooo fun!  The tag at the top, is one of the tags included in the kit, I stamped Grace's sentiment on and added a twine bow and a snowflake embellie.  The layout for my card is this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch (#195).

I grabbed some scraps (including the parts of the punched cork I cut off to fit on the front!!), snipped some "fishtails" on the bottom and used a Tree Die for the inside!

And last, but certainly NOT least… I made 2 gift tags!!  I used the Build Your Own Trinkets set, now I know that it is more than the $8 stamp allowance you get with the kit, BUT you really should be adding this set to your order anyway since it is PERFECT for all kinds of Christmas goodies 🙂  For pictures of the kit and a FULL contents list, visit the Kraftin Kimmie blog!!  Now grab your latte, and get hoppin… here's the list of the other 5 Krafty girls showin' off the kit!
