Quick Fix 2013

String             5 books
Paperclips      10 books
Duct Tape       15 books
Gorilla Glue  20+ books

I love the concept here, relaxing with literature under 300 pages long.  Like music singles, mysteries were briefer four decades ago and sometimes it’s nice to whip through a short story too.  Most of the series volumes I devour are just at the 300 page mark so I’ll go straight to ‘gorilla glue‘ on this:  20!

PICK AN AUTHOR ~

Pick An Author 2013
~Books over 100 pages long.

~As many or as few authors you want.
~At least 2 books from the authors you pick.

This is a nice theme.  When I admire an artist, I chase all their work and love to share it with others.  No levels are set out;  just a substantial enough story and 3 authors with 2 titles are recommended.  There is no ‘linky’ system either:  note your blog in comments and update your page periodically.  Watch for mine!

Mystery At Black Rock Island”  Robert Sutherland  1983
The Loon Lake Murders”  Robert Sutherland  1987
The Ghost Of Ramshaw Castle”  Robert Sutherland  1989
 “Dancing Feathers”  Christel Kleitsch  1985
A Time To Be Brave”  Christel Kleitsch  1985
Homicide In Hardcover”  Kate Carlisle  2009
If Books Could Kill”  Kate Carlisle  2009
Mew Is For Murder”  Clea Simon  2005
