Today's table is using only two colors: white and brown.
It's simple and calming...perfect for these hot summer days.

Welcome to my home!

Hoping your summer is full of rest and relaxation!

  1. I'm going to yak back about two posts in one here because I'm JUST seeing the gorgeous dining room post below. I love it more than I can say. Your chandelier is like what I ultimately want here. It's beautiful, and your butler's pantry is even more beautiful. I really and truly love this room!

As to the table challenge, how in the world did you pull off making a sea scape so elegant? I love the white with sand color combination and now want to set a table like that just because. Mine would pale in comparison. I love it.

(And I really love the house tour thing. I'm so glad you're doing it. )

  2. Sharlotte - love this tablescape! Brown is my favorite color and I do love all of the beach accessories (our beach condo is done in brown and blue!). Oh, to have a butler's pantry - I do not even care, if I do not have the butler - lol!! Great job on the table!!!

  11. Sharlotte,
This is a stunning brown & white tablescape, dear one!
I was quite intriqued with the tablecloth arrangement
allowing the gorgeous hues of the wood to show through.
The use of shells adds great texture to your tablescape!
Have you done a tutorial on your homemade florals?
I would love to be able to reproduce these in my own home.
Truly, I was greatly inspired by this elegantly staged tablescape!
    Thank you for sharing!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat
